An Invitation:

Through July 15th is a thoughtful and thought-provoking exhibit of paintings by Dr Russell Asnes.  The works reveal a strong empathy for our common humanity, ranging from domestic still life, to portrait, to political.  Proceeds from the sale of this work will be donated in your name to Doctors without Borders, the humanitarian medical relief organization which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999.

Dr. Asnes began painting in 1989 and works primarily with pastels and in watercolor.  He enjoys pastels for their texture and intensity of color and watercolor for its fluidity and transparency.
